Chicago, March 21, 2010: CIC Energy Construction & Supply, LLC and lending partner Graybar Financial Services have come together to eliminate the first cost associated with upgrading old inefficient lighting systems. “As part of our turnkey service we assist potential customers identifying federal, state, and local rebates and tax incentives available for the installation of energy efficient lighting systems,” says CIC Managing Partner Ken Anno. “After all of the rebates and incentives are applied, energy efficient equipment, such as lighting, often pays for itself in less than 2 years and yield tremendous returns. Despite the obvious return on investment and cost of waiting, the initial cash expenditure has been a major psychological and financial barrier. We are now making this decision a no-brainer where in most cases monthly savings will exceed monthly payments meaning the customer is cashflow positive from day 1.” Anno added that a similar financing option would be made available in Massachusetts where CIC recently launched its subsidiary CIC Energy East.
Graybar Financial Services will bridge the financial gap by providing CIC’s customers with a financing option that will offer low fixed monthly payments. At the end of the lease term, the Customer will have a $1 purchase option. The lease is structured such that the savings on monthly utility bills that result from the installation of new equipment is greater than the monthly lease payment. The end result is increased cash flow at the end of every month.
